ABOUT MY PRACTICE
"The earth holds us and reminds us that we are always supported softly. The wind cradles us and carries us ever so lightly into movement and with ease we flow to the rhythm of our own breath."
Walking my path, means I fully allow myself to be me. I allow myself to remember and connect to what I know lies within. It means I stop hiding, and start owning who I truly deeply am - a force of nature. This path started a long time ago, and I didn't see it as clearly then as I do now. There was always something calling me, something bigger than me, but because of the fear of not being accepted I pushed it away for years. Not speaking my truth eventually made me ill, and when the calling became that strong there was no other way to turn. When I finally tuned in, stopped apologising for who I am and stepped into my power that's when my dreams started manifesting infront of me.
That is when I truly started living with heart.
Yoga to me is embodiment - coming back into the body and remembering that we are one. One being, one bodymind, one with nature & the universe. Energy moves and holds us all. When we connect to that, we deepen the conversation within as body and mind becomes one. An embodied yoga practice will bring you towards the truth, or more exactly your truth - told by no one but you. Dancing in the emptiness we create a sacred space where time expands and slows down, for you listen and turn your gaze inward. It is in the stillness that you'll hear the whispers, and the answers you find in those moments bring you closer to remembering who you are. Those are the moments that need to be nourished and being still in the natural world allows us to grow.
"No single wave will ever be the same, like us - but we are all of the same properties."
Yoga was my way back to myself, to my body, it opened up a whole new world to me - the awareness of a world that I had longed for and a belonging I craved. I found my first love in Yin - later on that introduced me to my teacher
Satu Tuomela and the practices of Embodied Yin™ and Authentic Flow. I am and always will be a student and practitioner first. Always learning, growing and unfolding layers within. And I am so grateful and happy to be able to share my heart with you.
My love affair with yoga and with that - myself - opened up new pathways for me. I was being drawn to them, feeling like it was something I always had done - unknowingly. When I started trusting in my own abilities they unveiled themselves, these practices that to me felt like coming home. Just as yoga moves energy, so does Reiki.
My healing touch led me to the practice of Reiki and my teacher Michelle Baker. My intuitive nature made it natural for me to start working with tarot cards and other tools of divination in order to decipher messages with more clarity. And as I am tuning in to all that will unfold moving forward, I know that this is only the beginning,
Thank you for being here. Let us go on this journey together.
